Public Speaking Presentation - Coping With Anxiety

Public speaking anxiety is one of the main reasons people never develop their public speaking presentation skills. The lack of the skills can hold them back from moving on in their careers especially if they aspire to leadership positions. Public speaking and presentation skills are just not needed in sales positions but in any career.

Here are 2 quick tips to help with public speaking stage fright:

1. Before you speak, pause and take a few deep breaths to calm your nerves. Smile at the audience genuinely and it makes you feel better and the audience enjoys it too.

2. Keep yourself occupied before you speak - doodle, draw a picture, check your speech. It helps to keep your mind occupied.

It is worthwhile to develop your public speaking presentation skills. There are many benefits including recognition and more confidence to name a couple.
