Public Speaking Presentation Tips

Public speaking stage fright is a normal reaction of most people when they are asked to give a speech or presentation. Some nerves are a good thing because they help to focus on the task at hand. Too much stage fright gets in the way of giving an effective presentation.

Here are some tips to help you calm your nerves and give an effective presentation:-

1. Prepare your presentation. Don't leave your preparation to the last minute. Take the time to carefully prepare. This helps to build confidence.

2. Practice. Practice as often as you can until you feel comfortable delivering your speech. Practice giving your presentation in front of family and friends to get used to an audience.

3. Know your audience. Get to know your audience in a general sense (Who are they? What do they expect?) and on a one to one basis (By greeting them and shaking their hands). It is easier to speak to people you know.

Confident public speaking and presentation skills are able to acquired by some application and the right attitude.
